This psych two-piece are mining something raw and hazy from the Nashville undercurrent, skimming off and putting it down thick and black. And after several self-released vinyl EPs and a CD on Kimberly Dawn, they sent us over some appropriately fuzzy live recordings from their last tour out to California, during which they also played a blistering show at No Kings HQ. Four tracks of pure, stripped down, raw psychedelia, which are nicely warmed up by a cassette dub. Brian’s cranked straight-into-the-amp guitar, and Marty’s heavy hitting, over-sized cocktail drum set up combine into a kind of focused hypnosis rapture.
